Square Bay unconditionally purchased this 3.6-acre brownfield site from the University of West London. Located just a few miles east of Reading town centre the site comprised a handful of buildings and a former car park which made up part of the University’s Crescent Campus which had been vacant for a number of years. While it was our initial intention to obtain planning permission for residential, Reading Borough Council wished to secure the site for a secondary school. The site was sold to the Council 13 months after the purchase.
